Set in the country-club-style main lodge splashed with lively Bahamian colors and boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an incredible view of the ocean, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to guests and visitors in classic island style. Inside there's a stylish bar where you can enjoy cocktails or a meal, a small boutique, and three dining rooms, all adorned with Haitian paintings. Dinner is served every night except Sunday and the menu includes creamy curried shrimp, mahimahi Provençal, or a filet mignon smothered in a mushroom sauce, as well as a daily sashimi. Save room for the irresistible key lime pie or Bahamian bread pudding with coconut and raisins, drenched in a brandy sauce.

This casual eatery's seating is out on the pink-and-white-striped dock–patio. Locals, boat people, and land-based tourists gather here for value-priced eats and drinks. The menu is nothing fancy but provides reliable grouper burgers, Bahamian-style chicken or conch in da bag, fresh fish catch-of-the-day, and a variety of salads. Parents will chuckle at the items on their kids' menu—I Don't Care ( fish fingers), I'm Not Hungry (chicken strips), and Whatever (grilled cheese). Cap'n Jack's serves lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and offers a full bar.

Dine poolside overlooking the Leeward Yacht Club marina at this casual bar and grill. Open for lunch and dinner, Mama's is a delightful little family-owned takeout restaurant with outdoor seating in a tropical garden. Most of the lunch options come grilled. Pop in and ask Irene to arrange catering if you are staying on a yacht or in a rental home. They'll also put together a great catered lunch for your day of boating and island-hopping.

This simple diner-style restaurant serves up excellent renditions of local favorites, such as fried grouper and cracked conch, and sandwiches made with thick slices of a slightly sweet Bahamian bun for lunch. At dinner, large portions of pork chops, lobster, fish, and shrimp are served with rib-sticking sides like baked macaroni and cheese, peas and rice, and coleslaw. Save room for a piece of rum cake or Key lime pie with gravity-defying meringue piled on top, baked fresh daily and displayed in the glass case up front. 

For simple Bahamian food that will fill your belly, check out this small dine-in and takeout spot. Try the conch or chicken thigh snack served with fries or the dinner portion, which gives you the choice of two sides. There's a full range of burgers, including chicken or fish, prepared your way. 

Burgers, tacos, sandwiches, conch, fish, and icy rum drinks are served up with a terrific Atlantic view at this open-air bar and grill perched high on the beach dunes across the road from the small Turtle Hill resort. Go in your bathing suit and enjoy the beach and snorkeling right out front. 

A small hut bar overlooking the ocean and a brightly colored food truck serve simple but delicious small bites—conch fritters, fresh-catch ceviche, and fish tacos hit the spot. In true Bahamian style, the bar is open more frequently than the food truck, so be sure to check the schedule before driving all the way out for a bite. The original spot got completely wiped away by Hurricane Dorian in 2019, but they're slowly coming back.

Ceramic-tiled floors, rattan furniture, and floral-print tablecloths accent this large resort restaurant—250 guests fit in the main dining area and bar at the Treasure Cay Marina. Open Thursday through Sunday for dinner only, this spot is one of the only places you can dine inside in the airconditoning in northern Abaco. Saturday evening head here for Prime Rib night and choose a pairing from the area's most extensive wine list.

One of the only restaurants that's made a comeback in the Treasure Cay area offers a menu with the standard delicious Bahamian dishes you'd expect for both lunch and dinner. The poolside spot at Bahama Beach Club is known, however, for its varied theme nights. Steak takes center stage one night, and another it's tacos and tapas or Italian cuisine. Seating is inside or outdoors poolside. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, talk to the team about setting up a table for two or 20 right on the beach.

Ten minutes north of Treasure Cay Resort, this locals'-favorite, no-frills restaurant serves traditional Bahamian dishes such as grilled freshly caught grouper and minced local lobster stewed with tomatoes, onions, and spices. Reasonably priced appetizers such as conch chowder and conch fritters, and a full bar make this a perfect option for a night out. Be sure to save room for their homemade banana or coconut cream pies. Free shuttle service is available from the parking lot in front of the Treasure Cay Marina.

There are a few plastic tables and chairs outside this basic kitchen spot, but for the most part it's a takeout joint. The menu is limited, but the food is delicious. You can't go wrong with their burgers, yummy jerk chicken wrap, or seafood options. Some nights there's pizza on offer as well.
