Peak Season: Mid-April to October; Late December to Mid-January

This is the dry season, during which you can spend all day traversing the island without fear of a downpour, and hotel prices reflect this. December to mid-January is busy in spite of the rain with overseas Samoans returning home for the holidays.

Off Season: Early and Mid-December, Late January to March

With the exception of the Christmas-New Year period, these months see a slow in tourists, particularly because the rainy season runs from November to April. Outside of holidays, you’re likely to find good hotel deals.

Shoulder Season: Mid-April to June; November

Outside of rainy season downpours, there isn’t really an off time to visit Samoa. Mid-April to June will see hotel prices slowly creeping to their peak rates; they’ll start going down in late November.
