5 Best Restaurants in El Jadida, Rabat and Casablanca

La Capitainerie

$$ Fodor's choice

In the stylish Hotel L'Iglesia, La Capitainerie has tables that spill out onto the esplanade as well as a lovely dining room that highlights local tradition by displaying numerous period objects. The menu revolves around seafood with a Moroccan edge; you can order à la carte or choose a fixed-price menu; both change daily. There's a decent wine list as well as a bar area for evening drinks.

Café do Mar

$

Spread over several floors, this cute café serves tasty Breton-inspired buckwheat crepes, good quality coffee, and refreshing fresh juices that are just the ticket on hot days. You can spoil yourself with some divine Moroccan pastries, too.

Requin Blue

$

Right near Sidi Bouzid Beach, the Requin Bleu serves a wide variety of fresh seafood and fish dishes (early risers can also get breakfast or a cup of coffee here). It's conveniently placed and the views are great.

Restaurant du Port

$$

This old-school fish restaurant, located between the port and ramparts, serves the catch of the day straight out of the water. You can also sit at the bar and dine tapas-style while enjoying the reasonably priced alcohol beverages. The decor is yesteryear nautical (think low ceilings and wood paneling) and the ambience laid-back.
