Fodor's Expert Review Café Almendra

This tiny three-table spot just up from Hotel Bella Vista is as simple as it gets, but serves up tasty, well-priced vegetarian food cooked with love and served with a smile. The owner is originally Colombian, and makes excellent patacones (plantain chips). The veggie burgers and chickpea-and-lentil balls are also highly recommended.
