Planning Your Time

At your home base in Park City you can ski, snowboard, hike, mountain bike, or simply take in the scenery at local resorts. Head east to Heber City or Midway for golfing at Wasatch State Park, swimming in the Homestead Crater, horseback riding, or fly-fishing on the meandering Provo River. Plan at least a half-day trip to Sundance Resort and a hike on the foothills of Mt. Timpanogos. For a glimpse of Utah’s Mormon culture, spend a day in the college town of Provo, catch a Brigham Young University football game, and follow with a scoop of ice cream at the BYU Creamery. Warm-weather drives on the Alpine Loop or Mirror Lake scenic byways offer alpine breezes, views of golden aspens, and snow-peaked mountains.
