Marriott's answer to the city's boutique hotel boom is quite charming, thanks in part to the adjacent Delaney Oyster House restaurant in an 1830 Charleston single house. The 50 sleek rooms—30 of which include full kitchens—are set in a modern building that's framed by whitewashed brick and portraits of women, by women, in every room. An attractive fitness center gets lots of natural light. Parking is valet-only and $36 a day.
