The five guest rooms in this handsomely maintained 1911 Craftsman-style bed-and-breakfast are a tasteful but eclectic mix of older and newer pieces; all are named for famous Oregon rivers, and from the Columbia River room you're actually treated to a fine view of the Gorge. All rooms come outfitted with soft robes, DVD players, and Wi-Fi, and most have gas fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. Although it's located in a hilly residential neighborhood, Villa Columbia is just a few blocks west of Hood River's lively downtown. The inn has free off-street parking, and a delicious three-course breakfast is included.
