Boat Tours

Atlantis Explorer Environmental Boat Tours organizes two-hour, interactive boat tours ($20) down the Peconic River. Naturalists explain the geological history of the Peconic Estuary system and discuss local flora and fauna. There's also a shoreline walking tour, offering hands-on exploration. The tours, run by the Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program, are offered two or three times daily May through September. Look for special events including wine cruises.
