Beyond those Portland neighborhoods most frequented by visitors, the city is home to a handful of communities that range from quiet and residential to bustling—and many have worthy attractions. In Libbytown/Stroudwater you'll find concert venue Thompson’s Point, along with the historic Tate House Museum, and destination breweries/distilleries; Parkside is home to highlights like Hadlock Field and Deering Oaks Park; and in Riverton is Industrial Way, the site of several excellent breweries—Allagash Brewing Company and Foundation Brewing Company—that may just convince you to spend the better part of a day.
