Almonds, walnuts, and fruit are the main crops grown in this rural Yolo County town (population 7,600), whose several-block historic district's wine-tasting opportunities and restaurant scene lure tourists and Bay Area and Sacramento Valley day-trippers. The district's Main Street bustles on weekends, especially when music and other events close part of it.
