Tipping

The customary tip rate is 15%–20% for waiters, taxi drivers, hairdressers, and barbers. Bellhops and baggage handlers receive $1–$2 per bag; parking valets and hotel housekeepers are usually tipped $2–$3. Bartenders get about $1 per drink, but tip your mixologists like you would a waiter.
