Bouctouche

This idyllic, bustling town on the sandy shores of Bouctouche Bay is famous for pristine beauty and for Le Pays de la Sagouine, a theme park based on an Acadian novel. The 12-km (7½-mile) dune of Bouctouche is one of the few remaining on the east coast of North America and is bordered by a 2-km (1¼-mile) boardwalk along the Irving Eco-Centre.
