Visitor Information

There aren't many official tourist offices in the south. The Dominical Information Center is a great source for everything from bus schedules to maps to tour arrangements. There is also a hard-to-find, official government tourist office in Río Claro, en route to Golfito. Always ask for recommendations from your hosts. Lodge and hotel owners know their turf and they want happy guests, so they are unlikely to steer you astray.
