Your first stop in Lisbon should be the Ask Me Lisboa welcome center at the Praça do Comércio. English-speakers offer advice on everything from navigating public transportation to booking tours. There are pamphlets offering all manner of officially approved tours. You can also pick up a Lisboa Card, which offers unlimited travel on public transportation and discounted or free access to many major tourist attractions. There are also branches at the airport and at sights like Palacio Foz, Cais do Sodré, and the Lisboa Story Centre.
