In the lobby of Hotel Rex, not far from Termini station, this Michelin-starred restaurant is a winning collaboration between well-known Roman restaurateur Alessandro Pipero and chef Luciano Monosilio. You can order à la carte, but the tasting menus—served at lunch and dinner—are the way to go so that you can experience items like algae crisps with miso cream; rigatoni with brocoletti, pork sausage, and pecorino foam; with perhaps a slice of sangria-soaked watermelon to cleanse your palate. They also make one of the best carbonaras in the city. A meal here is all class, in an intimate setting.
