Air Travel

Air travelers will likely land at one of Paris’s two major airports and proceed onward by bus, train, or car; however, Normandy does have its own regional facilities. These include Aéroport de Caen-Carpiquet, which receives regular flights from Air France (www.airfrance.com), budget carrier HOP! (www.hop.com), and Flybe (www.flybe.com); and Aéroport de Deauville-Normandie, which receives twice-weekly flights from London operated by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com). If your primary goal is to see Mont-St-Michel, Ryanair flies from London to the Breton town of Dinard (02–99–46–18–46 www.dinard.aeroport.fr), putting you just 56 km (35 miles) west of the Mont.
