Room

It’s not in every hotel room that you see an iMac on the writing desk but that’s the type pf perk you’ll find in the rooms at this Hilton. If you thought the property’s dramatic façade looked a little more office block than hotel then this might just seal the deal—still, who wouldn’t want a snazzy iMac in their room? On the subject of sleek design, the identical rooms have their moments, with the basic neutral space spruced up by minimalist blonde wood fixtures and large, floor-to-ceiling windows.

You Should Know The hotel offers accessible rooms for wheelchair users with a range of features to make the stay more convenient.

Bathroom

Small bathrooms with walk-in showers are a touch sterile thanks to their bright white tiled interior.

Lobby

The expansive lobby was never designed to act as a space for guests to relax. It’s all business and the line-up of check-in desks keep things ticking along efficiently.

Gym

A cramped gym has a small range of cardio machines.

Dining

The Millbank Lounge is everything you expect from a Hilton restaurant, its sleek lighting, comfortable banquets and floor-to-ceiling windows creating a pleasant space. Expect classics like Caesar salad and burgers from the menu.

Tip Guests booked into Executive Rooms get exclusive use of the Executive Lounge, which offers food and drinks and some of the best views from the hotel.

Drinking

The hotel’s lounge merges into a more intimate bar area where guests can sit at the counter and work their way through the Whisky Library if they so wish.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

While immediate surroundings are unremarkable, the hotel is a short walk from the river and the South Bank path. Taxis are ever present on the roads outside the property and Pimlico Underground Station is a five-minute walk for journeys into the West End.

Restaurants

Located in the old Westminster Library, Cinnamon Club (6-minute walk) matches the class of its location with a solid menu of contemporary Indian classics. A big favorite with the locals, Grumbles (16-minute walk) should give you a dose of organic personality that’s missing from the hotel restaurant. Solid bistro classics are the sideshow to the homey interior.

Bars

Rubbing shoulders with politicians might not sound like the most exciting way to spend your time, but these excellent Westminster pubs will make it worth your while. Both The Red Lion (15-minute walk) and St Stephen’s Tavern (14-minute walk) are atmospheric spots to take in a drink or two surrounded by the political classes.
