Located just behind the Caicos Beach Condos in the settlement of Whitby, the Silver Palm serves great food in a setting more refined than any other in North Caicos. If you're day-tripping from Provo, start with breakfast here, or call ahead to order a picnic lunch to take with you as you explore. If you're staying on the island, dinner is highly recommended, but you must stop by or call by noon to make a reservation so they know you're coming—there are no drop-ins and there's definitely no late-night dining. The menu is varied, with plenty to please all tastes: grilled fish with lime, grilled chicken and even prime rib. During lobster season, try the half lobster tail or layered lobster sandwich at lunch. And positively save room for one of the freshly prepared desserts; they are amazing.
