Lüftner Cruises, headquartered in Austria, ranks among the best-known organizers of river cruises on European waterways. Founded more than 30 years ago by the Lüftner family, the privately owned company currently operates nine first-class ships in its elegant Amadeus fleet. Choose the MS Amadeus Silver, Brilliant, Elegant, Diamond, Princess, Royal, Symphony, Classic, and Rhapsody to cruise Dutch and Belgian rivers, the French Rhône, Saône, and up and down the Rhine, Main, Moselle, and Danube. In 2013, the river Seine joins the itinerary.

High standards for the Lüftner fleet afford river cruising with distinction—cruises focus on cultural and environmental awareness, Austrian hospitality, and outstanding service. Exclusive furnishings and decor are personally selected by Mrs. Lüftner to offer elegant and comfortable surroundings with designer touches. Substantial breakfast buffets and table-service menus for lunch and dinner use fresh, regional produce to showcase Austrian gastronomy and fine wine.

The spacious cabins on each vessel are tastefully furnished and give guests the feeling of being in a sleek hotel room with TV, adjustable air-conditioning, telephone, and bathroom with shower and WC. Almost all the cabins have large panoramic windows with French balconies, affording incomparable views of the charming landscapes along the riverbanks.
