Fliip Key vs VRBO

ANyone used Flip Key for vacation rentals. Have used VRBO many times but now they impose a good size fee and Flip Key does not. Same units as VRBO too. Wondering if they are reliable.

We used FlipKey in Buenos Aires for a 2 month rental in 2016. They were fine, even with date changes. But when we began to work with the owners, we found that the FlipKey rental charges did, in fact, incorporate good size fees. Naturally, they are in business. Their service was good. We have used VRBO several times and found them to be pretty fine also, albeit, as Shar says, with a good size fee.

I would just be sure that the figure on line is the FINAL figure for the rental cost - as with the airlines these days.

Shar, I used them once in Paris, once in Edinburgh and one time on Boston. No problems with payment or apartments. I would use the Edinburgh apartment again. The Paris apartment was in a great location but was so tiny and on the fifth floor. We knew that going in but we would rather have a lower floor and one bedroom. I loved everything about the Boston apartment in Beacon Hill.
