Best way to avoid ZTL areas
Hello! We're planning a trip to Italy and will have a car (staying in the Puglia area). I know to look for the signs, but are there other tips on how to avoid the ZTLs? Does google maps or waze steer you away from them or warn you if you're approaching one, or is there a different app I should use (iPhone)?

It’s hard , just plan your journey - they frequently aren’t signed that well and frequently the local Italians have access to the areas and will pip if you dare slow down to consider your route whilst driving,
many ZTLs just are not worth driving into , just plan , park outside and walk.
As a direct answer - we have found the local government websites of each town map the ZTL areas very well.
