We sit down this evening to plan an itinerary for next year and I have a problem confirming if the number of days meets the 90/180 day rule. Planning on arriving in Paris on June 2, 2020 and departing Frankfurt August 1, 2020. That is 61 days in country. Then going to Warsaw Poland arriving in country on Nov 25, 2020 and departing Dec 21, 2020 which is 27 days. That is a total of 88 days. I am good. But the issue is if we arrive on Nov 20, 2020 I am over the 90 days. Is that correct or on Dec 1, 2020 start a new 90 day period. I sure know how to confuse myself. Anyone out there who could help a old man.

Hi, can I just clarify a few things: this is for 2021, right? and not 2020, as that year is behind us now. Secondly, when you say 'if we arrive on Nov 20', where will you have been between August and November - is this two separate trips? Or are you expecting to spend that time in Schengen somewhere?

Not that it matters about the two trips - the 90 days is any 90 days in a 180 day period, as I understand it. So I think you are OK with your 88 days as long as the time between Paris and Warsaw is not spent in Schengen.

Thanks for the reply. We will be home in the states Aug thru Nov. These are two separate trips.
