Finally got my refund from Lufthansa!

I tried posting this a few minutes ago but don't know what happened...
Persistence pays off. I was supposed to go to Dresden and the Czech Republic in September. It took five phone calls and just under six months, but I finally got my refund for the flight that Lufthansa cancelled back in July. Hooray! And I guess the exchange rate has changed, because I got back nearly $40 more than I had paid. 😁

It took us five months for our May flight but we got it. I was surprised Air France took only two weeks. Now we just have vouchers with Eurostar and one hotel. I have a feeling the hotel will be booked every night we want to use those vouchers in Paris. Only hotel I prepaid for, everything else was pay when you get there except for the Berlin Apartment. I lost 25% on that but will apply to the next booking. It was not an Airbnb or vrbo booking. Berlinlofts. They were beautiful so will book if we ever get out of Florida.

I had prepaid two of my four hotel reservations, one of which was not refundable. I got an immediate refund for the one that was refundable. I wasn't too worried about the other one, since it was only about $60. Of course, I would rather not lose that amount, but of course it is a very small amount in the grand scheme of things.
