August will be a good time to visit Kenya. Your first consideration after that should be your budget and how long you have to travel. The combination of those two factors and the time of year you're traveling will set you on the path to finding the right safari for you.

is it Benin (your country label) or Kenya??
if Kenya in august and you have 3 weeks to spend, it will sure be a success
even if you spend only 3 days in Masai Mara you can't go wrong

Hi, I live and work in Nairobi, Kenya running a Safari and Travel company. Presuming you are on your own, I suggest a few options below depending on budget. I suggest you look at our website www.uniglobeletsgostravel.com and make enquiries from there.
1.Camping Safaris - visit most wildlife viewing areas, budget type trip.
2. Flying Safaris - To most Parks and Reserves, and the lodges will take you on all game drives to view the wildlife etc..More expensive.
3. The Masai Mara - a must then as the migration of millions of wildebeasts and zebra are in the Mara - dramatic, a spectacle not to be missed.
Thank you, Alan.

wow! its lovely to hear that you are set for a holiday in Kenya. For sure Aug. is one of the best months to travel, You will be lucky enough to see the wildebeest migration that start in July to sep.
All I can advice you is top get a nice tour company to organize a memorable adventurous holiday for you. Holiday can only be at its best in Kenya.
All the best!!
Kind regards,
Jackline

Only 3 nts in the Mara will make your trip a success, as Aby states. You may want to spend up to a week of your 3 weeks in the Mara that time of year. It is what I have done and what I will do on my next Kenya trip.
