Thank you again for your wonderful report, progol. I enjoyed reliving my Egypt trip through you. You’ve also reminded me that it’s been too long since I was in Petra and a return is in order.

I like the black and white. Perhaps it’s way we enjoyed visiting Philae at night while the night visits to the other temples did not speak to us as much.

Count me in on the Narmer Palette. I didn’t realize that there is an Egyptian obelisk in Central Park and I lived in NYC for a couple of decades. Have seen the one in Paris though.
