rekero and encounter mara vehicles

hi again. we loved the open vehicles that kicheche had. open on sides and top. they could be covered in by a thick cloth as needed. once we covered the top only during an downpour. we stood up alot with our heads out the top too.

i have heard that reeker an enounter mara vehicles have pop up roofs which i hate. they don't allow great continuous photos like we took when we saw our cheetah kill and i love seeing the blue sky.

is this pop up roof statement accurate for these camps? thanks much.

it is funny how certain things really matter on safari!

Hi Plambers,

I will double check for you, but I am almost certain that Rekero Vehicles are all enclosed. Encounter Mara has both in their fleet.

Plambers , while you didnt specifically ask here bout the Porini vehicles, but mentioned Porini on another thread, i thought you might want to know the two Porini camps we were in (including Lion) had the open frame, covered only by canvas jeep. which could be rolled back form the sides and the "roof" of the vehicle
