Gamewatchers are great for helping plan

I worked online with four operators. Then I started getting into details and gravitated towards Gamewatchers. I think ATR would be good too but I was already deep into planning with GW. My guy, Wayne was so patient. And looked for accommodations for me as I kept picking my own from Trip Advisor, etc. He put together a great itinerary and never tired of my constant questions. Of course I haven't been yet (going in mid-Sept.) but if you're in the planning stage I think they are great. They have all fives on Trip Advisor too.

Terry, glad to hear it is going well so far with Gamewtchers. I too happily used GW on my most recent trip, would use them again, was very happy with the planning, and 95% of the on-ground reality. The latter, of course, is what will ultimately matter the most to you.

Re: you picking lodgings based on tripadvisor reviews, one of the best qualities about an honest, knowledgeable travel agent anywhere, and a good reason to use one instead of d.i.y. in Africa (a few other places too) is his/her ability to sort the wheat from the chaff, and tell you exactly why or why not what you're interested in, based on what is written on tripadvisor, is accurate in THEIR professional as well as personal experience,. A travel agent/tour operator should never unquestioningly book a client into a place merely because it looks good on t.a. or elsewhere.
Indeed, the GW person i used int the USA was able to explain what may or may not be good choices. I trust Wayne has done the same.

Cali, I agree and he did steer me in the right direction if something didn't work. I thank you because you were one of the early helpers on my posts and got me to GW and an awesome itinerary.
